David Behnke is Managing Director and Head of U.S. Investments for Najeti Ventures. Prior to this, he worked for JPMorgan for 22 years, where as Managing Director he headed a variety of divisions, including the Private Sale Advisory Group, which provided merger and acquisition advice to privately held companies, and the Global Power Group, which provided financing and advisory services to the electric industry worldwide. He serves on the Boards of Directors of Direct Fuels, MVP International (Chairman), Prestolite Electric, Triton Logging, and Annie's, and was a Board member of DataPath, a former Najeti portfolio company. David is also a principal and founder of Behnke Doherty & Associates and Vice Chairman of the Advisory Council of the Baker Institute at Cornell University. He has served as a member of the Boards of the Connecticut chapter of The Nature Conservancy, the Connecticut Fund for the Environment, and the Connecticut League of Conservation Voters. He holds an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago, an M.M. from Yale University, and a B.A. from Hamilton College.
